Guild at Bloomberg Industry Group
@GuildatBIG
The indispensable voice of indispensable employees of the Bloomberg Industry Group: @BGov, @BLaw, @Environment, @Tax.
Today, we issued a letter — signed by 70% of our unit — to @SteveEngelberg and @RobinSparkman91 asking them to uphold ProPublica’s values of fairness, transparency and accountability at the bargaining table.
@NXSTMediaGroup management is on-site at The Hill’s offices in D.C. today -- we’re standing united outside the building demanding a fair contract! (P.S. We made more than enough copies to replace the fliers you keep tearing down 🙂)
2/ “We built on the work of other unions that have been fighting for AI protections, like the PEN Guild, which has strong AI language in their contract,” said Rebecca Rainey, Chair of INDG Guild. “These protections are essential for any news union today."
NEW: Workers at Bloomberg INDG (@GuildatBIG) have won a new contract with: ✅ Just cause – Beat back management’s attempt to weaken job security. ✅ Wage increases & bonuses ✅ AI protections – Safeguards against misuse of workers’ likeness & labor. wbng.org/2025/03/18/gui…
Yessssssss! Welcome to the team Alexia, Cole, Elleiana, Taylor, Quincy, Benjamin, Elias, Abby and Finn :) It's going to be a great summer. Can't wait to see your work. bloombergindustry.com/press-releases… via @BBGIndustry
VICTORY! Today after more than two months of negotiations the Bloomberg INDG Guild signed a new contract with management. This contract guarantees just cause, increased compensation, and brand new AI job protections for all members. This win proves we are stronger together ✊🏼
READY TO WALK: @therecordguild has voted to authorize a walkout, fed up with @Gannett's refusal agree to a fair contract with living wages, despite three years of bargaining. More here....

If the kids are united, we will never be divided!

Hi @MikeBloomberg your employees care about retiree healthcare. Do you?
We are out here this morning picketing for a fair contract! We won’t accept cuts to retiree health care!
When the Blocks insist on violating workers' rights, they also encourage managers to disrespect workers to their faces every day. Solidarity with our union siblings @bladeguild fighting to put a stop to it themselves. Blade and BCI management would do well to listen.
We delivered to Blade mgmt. a letter signed by the majority of members demanding: -Pay for the time it takes to complete the workload being asked of us. -Ending the current policy of overwork & job sharing. -Transparency on overtime & budgeting. -Respect. We won't accept less.

Solidarity! @law360union members know what it’s like to have management throw you peanuts on the eve of contract expiration. When we fight we win!

We @GuildatBIG demand a fair contract with benefits for retirees. Can you hear us, @MikeBloomberg?
Fighting for a fair contract as management tries to slash retiree benefits at Bloomberg Industry Group

Just checking in @MikeBloomberg. Does your interest in healthcare for all not apply to the hardworking retires that built Bloomberg INDG? What promises will you break in the future if you break this one?
Hey @mikebloomberg, you're selling out retirees by slashing healthcare while Bloomberg INDG splurges to replace its lobby. Are new floors and a fish tank more important than former workers with cancer, and strokes? A new floor to walk on: paved with the backs of retirees.
