If the status quo parties had their way, only the status quo parties would be allowed on the ballot. Don’t give the establishment the gift of raising the number of signatures required to run. We need more choice, not less.
Conservatives calling on the government to pass a law to end the longest ballot scam. See our letter.
The indifference that people have to disproportionate sentencing for crimes with a political nature is very concerning. We can debate what is a crime and if it was committed and all know there should be consistency in sentencing.
Dear Attorney General Downey (@douglasdowney), We at the Libertarian Party of Canada urge the Crown to reconsider the ongoing prosecution of Tamara Lich (@LichTamara) and Chris Barber (@ChrisBarber1975), which appears to reflect a troubling intent by the Crown to persecute…
Humbled to take over as executive director of @LibertarianCDN and honoured to hand off social media to @GuggenmosForMP after three years doing battle in virtual trenches. Help us put liberty first: libertarian.ca/join
Voting for libertarians is the closest you can get to voting for yourself without standing for election. We don’t want to rule. We want to recognize your right to live your life on your terms provided the life, liberty and property of others is respected, too. #cdnpoli
Today, I spoke with the local farmers of Three-Hill's Alberta who feel like they’re living on their last legs not because of drought or market conditions, but because of Ottawa’s rigged system. Supply management isn’t saving family farms. It’s killing them. The cartel-style…
A $420 tax cut with no matching spending cuts? Not only is this a slap in the face to our cost of living issues, it continues the planned death of your dollar.
Pierre's suggestion to raise the signature threshold to 1,000 would kill basically all smaller parties & independent campaigns. The long ballot thing is stupid, but this is a massive over correction. Why not limit the number of candidates an individual can act as an agent for?
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says he wants Canada's election laws changed to prevent long ballot protests as he is set to face another one next month. cbc.ca/news/politics/…
So they are planning to: -Take your hard earned money and give it to massive corporations -Increase the costs of every construction job across the nation -Use your money for inevitably inefficient "make work" projects The Liberals must have some big friends in the steel industry
Today, our government is taking concrete steps to defend Canada’s steel industry and its workers. By implementing targeted tariff-rate quotas and investing over $1 billion in workers and production, we’re ensuring our steel sector remains central to Canada’s economic prosperity.
The Bank Of Canada is the reason you can’t afford a home.
We can’t stop America from taxing Americans (on imports or anything else) but we can, we should and we must refuse to tax Canadians 1¢ more for this or any reason.
We don’t have to call for Alberta to secede to respect the right of Albertans, Quebeckers and everyone else to self-determination. ‘You can’t leave unless we say so’ isn’t confederation, it’s domestic violence. #cdnpoli
In order to have a free market, you must end state: - Price controls - Rent controls - Subsidies - Bailouts - Licenses - Welfare

To celebrate officially getting onto the Battle River-Crowfoot ballot I decided to hit the south hard with door-knocking today.
Just uploaded an interview with @MH_For_MP, Libertarian candidate for Battle River–Crowfoot. He shares some great insight on issues facing both Alberta and Canada. 🔗 youtu.be/zOifVepOieU
Property taxes are legalized extortion disguised as public service. And if the state can seize it at any time, you don’t own it: you’re leasing it from your overlords.
Governments are the biggest impediment to productivity through maddening rules, bureaucracy, regulations and taxation. Get the heck out of the way.
If Canada wants to increase worker compensation, then increases in labour productivity growth must be the policy focus for all governments. Learn more: fraserinstitute.org/studies/higher… #cdnpoli
You are not poor because of capitalism. You are poor because the government destroys your savings with taxes and inflation.
