Some of the brave firefighters who have been fighting fires in Waterford this week.
Anybody doubting potential severity of what today’s fire in Waterford might have done : just imagine - your back door and seeing this. (Pics from resident). That’s what I as a reporter have done for decades; report on the story. Disaster was averted by amazing firefighters.
Can’t begin to tell you how impressed I was with the firefighters in Waterford today. Unreal work, teamwork, dedication, saving homes, putting out fires, doing their jobs with utmost professionalism.
