Tallaght firefighters were called to a mobile phone mast fire overnight. The mast was isolated from power and a turntable ladder from Dun Laoghaire Fire Station also attended the scene. The turntable ladder crew used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire.



Finglas firefighters were called to a vehicle fire overnight. The car fire was extinguished by firefighters in breathing apparatus using a high pressure hose reel.

Brennanstown Road is temporarily closed as we deal with a fire in a vacant building. Divert if possible Three fire engines and a turntable ladder are on scene.

Firefighters from Tallaght and Dolphins Barn responded to a Hazardous Material incident over the weekend. An IBC was reported to be leaking and emitting fumes. The incident was dealt with whilst co-ordinating with onsite emergency teams.


#OnThisDay 40 years ago our training centre in #Marino welcomed its first recruit class. Four of the class are still serving today: J Keogh, M O'Reilly, P Carolan, J Robinson 40 years later the centre has developed and continues to train firefighter/paramedics.

Firefighters from Finglas Station were called to rubbish on fire yesterday evening. A first aid hose reel was used to extinguish the fire and prevent further spread. It was also F/F Lee Cooneys first fire.
