It might be it's the same everywhere, but certainly in Scotland, an old person using the word "son" towards a doctor in their home will have been using it with affection to show their friendliness, their openness and their appreciation. How Upton did not deserve that warmth!

As someone who has an elderly mother, who for a quite a while was at home with visiting carers… I’d like to know what was done to follow up this report and check it. Because someone who behaved like this while working with vulnerable elderly women should be setting off alarms.
