Seriously why is @PVDMayor doing this? We need to be improving infrastructure for people to be able to safely do outdoor activities. This is one of the few spots where I don’t feel like I’m going to get hit out there
The South Water Street bike lane was built for our families, cyclists, and neighbors who deserve safe and connected streets! Instead, @PVDMayor is trying to spend $5 million in federal and city funding to undo one of Providence's most widely supported infrastructure projects.

RI Energy’s schemes are in the news yet again. This last legislative session had numerous proposed bills at the State House to take on the unaccountable RI Energy monopoly and reduce costs for families. The @RIHouseofReps and @RISenate chose not to pass a single one of them.
State regulators have ordered an audit of Rhode Island Energy’s billing practices after thousands of ratepayers submitted complaints and state agencies were overcharged nearly $1 million. wpri.com/money/puc-to-c…

Let’s win rent stabilization for Providence! This is a fight we can win. We need to ensure that a supermajority of city council stands with tenants and overrides real estate shill @PVDMayor Brett Smiley’s promised veto. This is transformative change that’s possible if we organize

I don’t know Dan- it’s my job to put forward the best option I can and then listen. My neighbors opposed this - nearly 150 residents contacted me since - politicians don’t change their mind publicly because folks are unwilling to admit their way might not be the only way.
council can’t get out of its own way? what does that even mean? sorry we listen to the community’s feedback and incorporate that into policy decisions. how dare the city support its public schools.
