Some clarification on the number of bus routes RIPTA is planning to eliminate: 9 regular routes, 2 flex routes (zones where people can call for a ride), and 6 park & ride routes…for a grand total of 17

And I can tell you from first hand experience that the ER at Kent Hospital at least (don’t have any info about the others) is already jam packed. The speculation is that these folks no longer have PCP’s.
