North Smithfield Fire Chief tells me he believes a home here on Rainville Ave was struck by lightning. Nobody was injured and crews made quick work to put the fire out. @wpri12

Several cars are either stranded or currently trying to get out of flood waters on Rodman St in Fall River right now. Flash flooding has sent about a foot of water onto this road. The street is still open right now. @wpri12

Sure, Patriots training camp started today… but outside in the village they had PUPPIES!! All but one of the pups brought in by the @PotterLeague today were adopted, and the last one was put on a hold by a family in the final minutes of the day!

Cranston police investigating a shooting in Garden City earlier today. This occurred in the parking lot outside of LA Fitness. Police say it was a very targeted attack, and none of the (at least) 5 rounds shot hit anybody.
