The deeper the bed, the deeper the lake when we restore it.
In the grand scheme of things the state is more complicit for not developing water supplies than the Boswell’s are for pumping water that is rightfully owned.
For those keeping track, this is Operation Crossbow 2.0.
Footage shows the assembly of “Geran” drones at the Alabuga special economic zone in Tatarstan, Russia. The site was targeted by a Ukrainian drone strike about a month ago.
I’d forgotten about that Henry Adams graphic. I probably could have spared some verbiage and just pointed out that we see the Henry Adams curve in materials too.
Do I know anyone in Eugene, Oregon, who is potentially available for a weird quest? DM.
I love the way we take our smartest and warmest hearted young people and feed them directly into the healthcare industry where every day they must fight a desperate losing battle with externalities of existence that the rest of us just don't want to deal with.
People on Twitter have been talking about premature organ harvesting for years. I’ll be honest, I thought it was a conspiracy theory. I was wrong. It’s real, and it’s horrific.
When you're at the frontier of knowledge and capability, you have a capability that cannot be bought for any sum. Some people hunt for it instinctually.

In two generations most of this will be under solar.
A shocking amount of the USA looks something like this. When I think of "America," I picture a scene like this.
Not enough boredom. There are actually a good number of people with Leibniz-level working knowledge of all these disciplines and more. Read 3 books on each of these topics with steadily increasing difficulty, it will only take a year or two. But very few will actually have…
Leibniz 🤯 Why don’t we see this level of breadth anymore among intellectuals?
Still in awe of this Bronze Age sealstone found at Pylos ten years ago. It's only 3.6 cm long (1.42 in.), but just look at the hair, the muscles, the sword, the patterned kilt, and that limp, dead arm.
His hobby was drunk driving.
Mathematician and polymath John von Neumann could speak eight languages by the age of six, including Ancient Greek and Latin. He could divide eight-digit numbers in his head at the age of six. He was familiar with differential and integral calculus by the age of eight. He entered…
Imagine having a house like this and not having 12 children and a machine shop.
Fuck you money
Seems pretty clear the algorithm boosts baby content, and I'm totally okay with that. Children are awesome. You can create arbitrary numbers of minions with basic tools in your own house. Permissionless empire building.
