“I am so proud to be English.” - Chloe Kelly. Refreshing, should be said more often.
4 years ago, he replied to a daft post on here I’d made about birds and omens. 2 years ago today, we got married in beautiful Margate. Today we’ve arrived in Spain for a holiday just the two of us. Love of my life. ❤️ Thanks, Twitter.
Watching the live streams from Essex confirms my longheld view that those on the far right and far left just love to wind each other up, and need each other because everyone else thinks they're both bonkers and boring.
I can save Yvette Cooper and her "elite police unit" some time. I am angry about immigration. I am about angry about Sharia law in our country. I am angry with Labour for lying to us about it. And I will continue to say so on social media.
Is this some sort of joke?
Home Secretary to make crowding more than 80 migrants into small boats a criminal offence - but critics say it'll do nothing to stem the tide trib.al/sF3yqEN
Here is Keir Starmer 11 years ago defending free speech. What has happened since then?
I studied medicine for five years and only truly understood the NHS after working in it. Wes Streeting studied history, has never worked a day in healthcare, nearly lost his seat — yet he’s now running our health system It’s time the health secretary was a medical professional

This isn't a good look for the BMA
EXCL: BMA union refused a hospital’s plea to allow a doctor to carry out potentially life saving cancer tests. But hero doctor caught wind of it and crossed the picket line to help six men waiting for prostate biopsies. Brilliant story by @SophiaSleigh thesun.co.uk/health/3602722…
Feels odd being at a hospital during a strike. The staff are doing their best but are clearly overstretched. A lot of anger from patients & families. The junior doctor strike is reckless and will put patients at risk. @TheBMA should be deeply ashamed of itself.
Heard that a registrar is doing a consultant shift for £320 per hour during the strikes Makes a mockery of everybody on x moaning about PA’s
£22636 2008 FY1 £20,225 2008 nurse £38,831 2025 FY1 £31048 2025 nurse 2008 doctor 11.9% above a nurse 2025 doctor 25% above a nurse Is that correct??
I don't know if it is different across middle England. But the "white working class" are racist narrative is an intriguing one considering they tend to have more interactions with black people. Most of the local Spoons in South London are hubs for English and Caribbean boomers.
Thank you to the #doctorsstrike for cancelling my elderly mums appointment tomorrow - she’s been waiting 18 months in agony and unable to walk. Is it in your code of ethics for her to be lying in pain until the new appt in February? I’d sack the lot of you. Disgraceful.

Mike Graham grills BMA's resident doctors' committee co-chair Melissa Ryan on why she won't reveal her annual salary, despite going on strike over pay. "You're asking for taxpayers to fund your work... Of course your salary is bloody relevant - why are you hiding it?!" @iromg
All this trouble in Essex wouldn't be happening if Big Pat Tate was still around
These people are delusional. Corbyn was incredibly unpopular with the genuine working class
The last time he was destroyed by Tory owned media, it never folded him, he went off gathered himself and came back. That’s a politician I want, not one who fucks up gets fired and rehired within a fortnight.
These two will be 100% protected from covid
