Really great eastern U.S. DX day. It started out with 92.9 WGTZ, 95.5 WXMG, 99.7 WRKZ and 105.9 WNKN from Ohio via tropo in the 8 a.m. hour, an opening that was probably going better before I found it — got in late from a vacation road trip!

We looked at a sample of results from the @SBEorg's annual compensation survey of broadcast and media technology engineers. The survey found that those with SBE certifications earn more than those without. 💵 More @radioworld_news. #BroadcastEngineer radioworld.com/news-and-busin…

One of my favorite tropo paths is northwest over the Appalachian mountains. It's uncommon but happens typically in the early fall here in NJ. There was a very nice swath this morning, however, to Ontario, western Pennsylvania and upstate New York.

This is definitely the shortest hop of e-skip I've ever seen on FM. It's 100.5 WSJD Princeton, Indiana @ 369 miles. It beats my previous short-hop by 8 miles. That indicates the MUF was really high yesterday at the time of reception.
