New TITANITE 5.0X / NA 0.27 microscopy lens now available from Schneider-Kreuznach! Purpose-built ExA-SPIM lens with steel dipping caps in place of the original beamsplitter. Same 16.8 mm FOV, slightly lower WD (22 vs 35 mm) and NA (0.27 vs 0.30), but with dipping capabilities.

I bought a Shear Plate on Ebay for little money - what could possibly go wrong? Super useful for (#lightsheet) #Microscope alignment! What I didn't know is that Melles Griot used to make Shear Plates up to 85 mm beam diameter - so it is a little bigger than expected... 🤣🤣🤣
