Today, the FCDO launches the world’s first sanctions regime against people smugglers and organised immigration crime, that drive irregular migration to the UK. 📢These people smugglers and those helping them will be hit with frozen assets, UK travel bans, and public exposure.

Terrible news that four people tragically lost their lives in yesterday’s plane crash at Southend Airport. My thoughts are with their families and loved ones. I also want to thank all the emergency responders who attended the scene.
Thirty years ago, genocide took the lives of over 8,000 men and boys in Srebrenica. More than 20,000 women and children were forced from their homes. Today, we remember those brutally massacred and stand with the survivors of those horrific events.
