Tech should be liberated from tech people.
The problem with tech is that it’s still largely being built by men who’ve never felt truly connected to themselves, to others, or to the world. It’s revenge-of-the-nerd energy disguised as innovation, and it’s torpedoing culture, intimacy, and meaning in the process.
The use of "real engineering" and "academic background" in the same context reveals the OP's knowledge of these two subjects.
Apple's "liquid glass" design clearly signals their intention to release transparent phones in the future. They may once again pioneer a technological shift as they have done before.

The worst part of this "cheating software" nonsense is not that it forces the interviews to be conducted on-board. It's the stress and anxiety I'm gonna go through that the people I'm interviewing will think I'm cheating.
They raised $5.3M to sell you cheating We gave it away for free No waitlist No demos No VC bullshit 100% open source Cheating Daddy is live Mac and Windows FORK IT NOW
“Mathematics is itself a branch of computer science, since according to Brouwer’s Dictum all of mathematics is to be based on the concept of computation.” - Robert Harper
I wish someone had told me that my social circle would dramatically decrease so much as soon as I finished college. If there are friends who are still at college, the only advice I would give them is to enter as many social groups as you can, meet people and get married before…
They missed the last boat. Once a guy is out of college, he's more or less stuck with whatever his job and hobbies provide, which typically isn't much, and is walled off due to HR issues even if there are women to chat with. I get this boggles older guys' minds, but that's it.
I've read the ecmascript spec from start to finish before. timothygu.me/es-howto/
When I was a student and had plenty of time, I read the full C++03 standard from start to finish. I also read like 50% of HTML5 w3c wd. And the full python2.6 language reference end to end (how else would I know about `for: ... else: ...`). I'm a sucker for the "ground truth".
I accidentally watched foundation 2x09 instead of 1x09. Realised halfway through. I want to kill myself.
In my late 20s, I feel like a coming-of-age film character with a long life ahead. We have a wide range of possible lives in our youth, but as we age, the number of lives that we can live gets smaller and smaller and we are forced to face our own reality.
Did you know that the term “deep state” popularized by Trump and his allies in the US was actually first used in Turkey and came from a Turkish word?
At the start of my interview with Trump, we were temporarily shut down by a MASSIVE DDOS attack. Someone was trying to stop the interview. Who do you think performed this attack? A) Russia B) China C) U.S. Deep State D) Zuckerberg E) Other
I came across it on youtube, started with prejudice, but by the time I finished the video I had a better understanding of what the world of top class intelligent people is really like. I recommend you check it out youtu.be/kdThScj7VPs?si…
