In light of the recent announcement from @shappsGrant regarding the introduction of a new law to deal with ‘killer cyclists’, and very much picking up from the thread done by @ormonroyd, I’ve had a little look on sentencing for killer drivers over the last year or so.
He just can't help but be a misogynistic pos can he. The women's game was hampered for decades by the FA's ban on women's football because they felt threatened by it's success and popularity.
It’s essentially a private sector matter and the private market will decide what prize money it awards based on what gross revenue there is. This is no different to any sport and it’s based on revenue potential through attendance, sponsors, TV revenue and advertising, so stop…
And like that, another chapter ends… it’s been a great privilege to be part of the same team who got me into @LeTour 33 years ago during my summer holidays in the UK. @itvcycling - thank you. Best thing? Last day was my boys first day seeing what I do, or used to. Thanks Ned. ❤️
That's all folks. You'll be sorely missed @itvcycling, always enjoyed your commentary and the coverage, to think you'll not be on TV next year covering TdF is quite sad. 😢
"Pretty good, wasn't it?! I just can't imagine going back to the processional sprint" Gary, Chris, Alex and Pete look back on an amazing stage 21 ⛪️ Ned and David will be LIVE on ITV Sport's YouTube channel later with the last 'Today at the Tour' 🗣️ #TDF2025
This is hilarious. Imagine being so stupid you think the CPS has nothing to do with the law. 🤦🏻♂️
That has absolutely nothing to do with the law you clueless clown. I said you didn't know what you are talking about. This is now at an insane level of lunacy. LMAO. I genuinely don't know how to explain it to you.

There's always one. 🤦🏻♂️
Segregated cycle lanes only encourage bad behaviours - a false sense of security and an exaggerated sense of entitlement. A fraction of the money devoted to cycle training and roadcraft skills would help make all road users safer.
DfT traffic counts (with relevant automatic or manual counts) for roads on the boundary of various Lambeth Low Traffic Neighbourhoods. All of these show either no change or a reduction against pre 2020 counts.

You had no argument before and you have no argument now. At this point you have forfeited any right to any amount of safety on the roads. You simply don’t deserve it. If you have no responsibility to yourself, then neither does anyone else.

Never fails, car brains always eventually show off they don't understand risk or physics. 🤷🏻♂️
Oh and of course, while cyclists will require space from drivers, cyclists are happy to discard said space and brush by everyone’s mirrors if traffic is slow or stopped 🙄 why don’t you guys maintain a 1.5m gap from cars, and thus never pass them?
