For all those who blame renewables for the high price of energy, this is the reality. When renewables are providing the highest proportion of energy to the grid, the price drops. When gas does it, it more than doubles. It is FF's that keep energy prices high, renewables lower…

The grid is constantly upgraded, sometimes whilst we sleep? youtube.com/watch?v=SF4Jj_…

Very sad news, she will be missed. A giant of the jazz and music world. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
And: -96% of hydrogen is filthy, made from unabated carbon -Green hydrogen uses 5x more electricity than a heat pump for the same amount of heating -Hydrogen is 1/3 the energy density of gas, so requires 3x the volume - It's the leakiest molecule in the universe
An apparently necessary reminder that the Tory government rightly cancelled a bunch of hydrogen heating trials, mostly because the local residents reacted unfavourably to the prospect of this happening in their kitchens.
Why are some so fragile these days? We had a reasonable conversation, she heard things she didn't want to hear, then blocked. Existing in echo chambers really isn't the best policy.

Economics 101: people respond the incentives (and disincentives). Reeves’ tax raises are bringing in less tax, costing jobs, and dissuading investment. Labour’s economic incompetence is damaging the UK economy.

In the Chelmsford Tesla service centre having the pyro fuse changed (under recall warranty). The new Model Y really is a very good looking and well equipped car. £349 a month, 5 seats, huge boot (trunk) and of course a froot (frunk), all Tesla hardware and software and full…

This level of borrowing is not remotely ‘unexpected’ given the out of her depth Chancellor. She is no more capable of balancing her books than a first year undergrad in freshers week.

Today's outrageous lie from Starmer is that there is plenty of spare housing available in the UK to cope with the influx of illegals. There are 1.3 M on social housing waiting lists in England alone!! This disgraceful liar must be held to account, he is a danger to our nation.
In their first few weeks in office, Labour created a huge black hole in public finances with unfunded trade union deals. The idea that this move would stop future strikes was very naïve. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/07/2…
Shocking, really shocking that a price cap reduces supply and makes things worse. If socialists understood economics, they wouldn’t be socialists.
The government's reply 'Let me be very clear. To leave no room for doubt. The rights and welfare for everybody else in the world will ALWAYS be top of our priority list The British Peasantry will ALWAYS come last. We hate you,. We despise you. If we could we'd eliminate you'
Hello Westminster! It is us! The ordinary people of Britain. The ones you think of as 'the peasantry'. Just a reminder that we have rights too And we're fed up of ours always being ignored/erased in favour of just about everybody else in the world. We're getting annoyed!
Last night, the Lib Dems betrayed farmers. They voted against our amendment to exempt farms from 300 pages of employment red-tape. Because of their vote we narrowly lost — now hard-working farmers will suffer for it. The Lib Dems are not on the side of British farmers.
