This is the best ever true news BBC ever made about Israel, 4 minutes but every minute is extremely important
2 year update. Solid progress with real metrics. Is any council in the UK even close to @lambeth_council @RezinaChowdhury on this? lambeth.gov.uk/sites/default/…
@lambeth_council new Kerbside Strategy is a real reimagining of the way our streets should look. Lots of people have floated elements of this before. But this is uncompromising and complete - it actually maps to the hierarchy of use that’s been (supposedly) in place for decades
All this filming and they don’t manage to show anything but safe interactions. Even where there is conflict here’s Vincent misrepresenting a “should” rule as a “must” (I’d support it being a must but this is what the latest edition still says”.
There *IS* a correlation between areas of high deprivation and poor air quality - because the least deprived areas of London are the outer suburbs, and the more deprived boroughs are central, where the air quality is worse.
Poundbury. They modelled the town square on the car parks of Ashbourne or Kings Lynn rather than Strasbourg, anywhere in Netherlands, or any of Europes great squares. theculturemap.com/most-beautiful…

A reminder to you all that in a list of those killed by Israel in Gaza, you have to reach page 15 to get to the end of the list of babies aged 0. #SanctionIsraelNow
Same Left fantasies exist around decarbonisation. That’s why they oppose carbon pricing at the pump while talking about ‘making the big polluters pay’. That’s why they ramble about private jets, but not their own frequent flyer lifestyles. It’s ALWAYS somebody else’s job.
I worry that the Left has stopped making the argument for a more expansive state funded by most people paying more tax. Instead we're left with the false claim that Other People will always pay.
