BREAKING: In solidarity with Columbia, hundreds of Yale students have just constructed an encampment of tents outside a Board of Trustees meeting. Organizers say they won’t leave until Yale divests from all military weapons manufacturing. FREE PALESTINE!
Video after video shows Israelis are going out in droves; with their children, and blocking aid trucks. Meanwhile their government is lying to the world about why the aid isn’t coming in, blaming the UN and others.
Israel is a signatory to the 4th Geneva Convention, which explicitly lays out that expectation
Israel is the only nation on Earth that is expected to set up a flawless food supply chain to feed a nation they’re at war with
After 22 months of us screaming about genocide, starvation, and ethnic cleansing in Gaza- if you’re just now standing up, welcome. We need you. Go hard. But if you’re only speaking up now 'cause your handlers said you can, a primary chall, or to rewrite your 💩 legacy-spare us.
this implies that the dire situation in gaza happened overnight, as opposed to being the final chapter in a series of escalating horrors by the state of israel. not just callous, completely implausible
Reading this you would have no idea which entity (Israel) caused “catastrophic hunger and suffering of civilians” in Gaza. Hamas is named twice though! Unbelievably, Israel is only mentioned under the guise of needing to “strengthen security”! Cut to this guy’s tribunal already
Witnessing the catastrophic hunger and suffering of civilians, especially children, women, the sick and elderly, in Gaza has been heartbreaking. The crisis in Gaza must be met with an immediate and drastic surge in life-saving resources, such as desperately needed food, water,…

“One day, when it’s safe, when there’s no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it’s too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this.” — Omar El Akkad
A joint statement on Gaza from AFP, AP, BBC News and Reuters
Let’s pretend they did not know (which is a fucking ludicrous thing to pretend): if a member of Congress was totally and entirely unaware of GHF, the starvation, the mass killing, they are too fucking stupid to live outside of a group home setting. What kind of coalition is this?
Tweeting "I told you so" at people who change their mind about what's happening in Gaza does nothing to help the kids who are being starved to death. Welcome people into the tent. Build a bigger coalition and use it to force political change.
NO SHIT. We knew this. The NYT and other mainstream media has laundered Israeli genocide propaganda for nearly two years. Absolutely evil behavior that I hope haunts every single complicit editor and reporter for the rest of their lives.
I'm not sure that people realize how abnormal it is for journalists to be killed in wars. More have been killed in Gaza (232) than in the Civil War, World Wars I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War (+Cambodia and Laos), the Yugoslav wars, and the Afghanistan war, combined.
Breaking: An Israeli airstrike just killed Adam Yahya Abu Harbid, a cameraman for Al-Quds Al-Youm channel, along with all members of his family, after targeting their tent in Al-Yarmouk market in Gaza City.
Note that the WSJ laundered bogus “Israeli intelligence” that “10% of UNRWA” was Hamas, a claim their standards editor later admitted they had no evidence for This lie was key to the successful smear campaign and subsequent defunding of UNRWA—the primary provider of food in Gaza
The Wall Street Journal has published the GHF's murderous lie.
Every day, the horrors in Gaza reach new, unimaginable depths. And as starvation spreads, Netanyahu and Trump remain complicit in a scheme to use US taxpayer dollars to replace humanitarian aid orgs with mercenaries — leading to more death and devastation. This cannot continue.…
🎉 Huge congrats to @allybergamin for winning the 2025 @ASJAhq Award for Environmental/Climate/Sustainability reporting! Her chilling, masterfully reported piece on death squads targeting environmental defenders is a must-read. 📖 👉 inthesetimes.com/article/brando…
The student protesters were obviously correct on Gaza. The reaction to them was obviously idiotic and depraved. We're probably still a while out from this being banal conventional wisdom, but it's coming.
Part of what makes this current moment so psychosis-inducing is the mystification. A mysterious unknown entity is starving 2 million people. We can’t say their name but have to still make gestures towards liberal humanitarianism. It’s all phantoms, ghosts, specters
The suffering and starvation unfolding in Gaza is unspeakable and indefensible.
The western left has lost its mind on Palestine. It has become issue number one, which when you consider everything else happening in the world right now, is totally insane.

My sister in christ you took a smiling photo with Netanyahu exactly two weeks ago
.@SenAmyKlobuchar: "Acute malnutrition is rising. Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed in recent weeks while seeking food, most in the vicinity of Gaza Humanitarian Foundation distribution sites and others on the routes of aid convoys. This is simply unacceptable."
Read this very carefully: *One quarter* of all the people who have died of starvation in Gaza over the past 22 months have died in the past *3 days*
I don’t understand how people can read these testimonies, really read them, and then go on with their day as normal. This is unbearable.
Day 6 of drinking and water and salt so we our organs don't fail. Day 7 is tomorrow, we will do the same. Day 8, the same. Week 4, most of us will not be here anymore. Month 2, the world will wonder how 1.8 million people were allowed to be starved to death. Save us.
