Hi! @zellnor4ny's been taking on Cuomo since 2017 when he ran against Cuomo's IDC and helped flip the State Senate blue. When you were still in college.
Zellnor going nuclear on Cuomo in the closing days of the campaign is a pretty big deal. Includes ad spending as well. Could very well have taken the path of Ramos, but didn’t, and probably for the best as far as his future in NY state & city politics goes
One thing that has given me a lot of hope and inspiration is how many small, unseen acts of integrity and solidarity there have been in the coalition to defeat Cuomo - even among rival candidates. There IS a bench of strong, selfless leaders in our city. They make me so proud.
