NEW: Billionaires raised her. Cops trust her. Elites love her. Crime is down on her watch. But will Zohran Mamdani keep Jessica Tisch as NYPD commissioner? My thoughts on Mamdani's first BIG decision: michaellange.nyc/p/zohran-mamda…
I’ve heard some interesting things about this poll 👀

Another banger by @MichaelLangeNYC about the complicated and significant decision Mamdani must make whether or not to retain Jessica Tisch as NYPD commissioner: open.substack.com/pub/michaellan…
Another thoughtful essay by @MichaelLangeNYC — this one about Mamdani and Jessica Tisch. michaellange.nyc/p/zohran-mamda…
AOC makes an excellent, oft-overlooked point. After Zohran Mamdani won, the biggest meltdowns came from those with the most distance from him. The more voters came to know Zohran, the more they liked him. Already, the once-rigid opposition is softening. Maybe he isn’t so bad?
AOC on Mamdani: Get to know him. If anybody is skeptical, get to know him, when you get in a room with him, kick the tires and make your own assessment instead of making assessments from what you see on television.
With 1.1K+ ballots reporting, we are in a dead heat.
Should Zohran Mamdani, if elected Mayor, keep Jessica Tisch as Police Commissioner? Would love to hear any and all thoughts. If you want to keep it between us, send me a DM or email.

🚨NEW DFP NYC POLL 🚨in a traditional mayoral electorate, mamdani is up 16 points over cuomo
If only the business community had been following @MichaelLangeNYC they could have had an extended period of hysteria for a few weeks prior to the primary!
We asked Kathy when it was that the business community really started seriously paying attention to Zohran's candidacy, and she said it was about 10 PM on election night, at which point they entered into a state of hysteria.
More proof these folks are not particularly in touch with the pulse of the city

Zohran Mamdani only lost three precincts in all of Jenifer Rajkumar's Assembly District (Ridgewood, Glendale, Woodhaven). Pre-RCV, Mamdani won her district by 36 points. Rajkumar, an ally of Mayor Eric Adams, ran for Public Advocate, losing by 55 percent. One to watch in 2026.

NEW: Zohran Mamdani shocked the world by defeating Andrew Cuomo. But there’s still a General Election to win in November. Can a clown car field of Cuomo, Eric Adams, Curtis Sliwa (& the financial elite) actually stop Mamdani? I map out every scenario: michaellange.nyc/p/four-months-…
