Doesn’t help that many residential streets have had crappy tarmac put on top them creating gully’s full of loose chippings which the weeds love. I cleared the weeds in my 4 house cul de sac yesterday and swept up all the loose chippings (4 trugs worth!). Took me 4 hours.

Remove the front wheel (you'll need a spanner) and the bike is free to be taken away. You'll need to remove 3 spokes with a spoke key (or cut them - they cost about £1 each to replace) if you want the wheel too.
Next up: Get aw these motors tae fuck.

Agreed apart from one thing. Glasgow is also like this.
2. This (purple!) vomit remained outside a coffee shop for over a week. Rivers of dog urine also outside food outlets. In European cities, shop keepers would be embarrassed to leave this outside their premises or the council would hose the pavements daily.
Agree with the sentiments expressed by your reader. The city looks squalid with food waste, vomit, dog urine and faeces and cigarette ends left till the rain clears them. Other European capital cities are nothing like this. 1/2
Average age of my neighbours is about 75 so no one else to help.
If all physically-fit residents could spend an OCCASIONAL 10 MINUTES outside their houses pulling WEEDS up, leaving the council to look after those who can't manage to do this, we'd have a much smarter and attractive city. Let the council concentrate on POTHOLES!

“The Charles Hammond Berth in Leith was opened last year and has been designed primarily to handle the world’s largest offshore wind vessels, and due to its deep water capability and sheltered location, the berth can also be used for bespoke marine project work".
The Port of Leith’s newly constructed Charles Hammond Berth showed off its unrivalled deep-water capability as it facilitated the ‘float-off’ marine operation for Type 31 frigate, HMS Venturer, as she entered the River Forth for the first time recently. bit.ly/46ocmL7
