After a week off, I had almost forgotten just how DIRE some local news websites are. That's not an attack at the journalists, whose good work is buried by ads. The ad-funded model is painful for readers. Those with the option to pay to remove ads get my money and full support.

Aww RIP Glen Michael. Watching his show on a Sunday before Scotsport was part of growing up in Scotland over the 70s and 80s. Met him a few of times over the years latterly at an STV Anniversary Dinner. Remarkable character and legacy! Never did get on the birthday slot tho.
