SelfReflect to Unreal LiveLink bridge is now available to the early access supporters! This is just the single camera tracker (for now). Recorded this motion in sequencer and then animated the camera separately in like 3 minutes. Link below.
Cleaning my office & I came across some of my storyboard sketches for the April Fools version of the McElroy Family Clubhouse intro. The final ended up fairly different as I experimented more inside of Unreal. Trying to figure out where everyone should be in the scene was tricky.

Many thanks to all of the people who are still translating “Game Center CX” episodes into English. Love this show so much.

WHOOO! After another week of intense bugfixing and performance gainz, jnmartin is preparing for the initial public release of Mario Kart 64 for the Sega Dreamcast! Here's your very first look at the state of the game now with fully implemented audio, directly captured from my DC!
I need to add some actual gameplay, but this should work well enough for other people to try. Let me know if you like this controls. Try it in any WebXR browser for the best experience. It'll work in non-VR, but it's not ideal. tacolamp.itch.io/superman-64-vr
Spent a little time to fix up the controls for Superman 64 VR. Direction is based on where your hands point instead of head movement. Speed is driven by how far out your hands are. Wrist rotation makes it a bit too sensitive so I might come up with something else.
This is sooooo cool! I’d love to play a game in this style. So awesome these toys get to live on like this.
I am delighted to announce that I've 3D scanned the complete Super Mario Land keshi figure series, originally released by Bandai in Japan in 1989! All 21 of these vintage Mario toys--from Daisy to Tatanga, and everyone in between--can be downloaded here: archive.org/details/keshiC…
Oh my gosh, after 3 years, 7 months, my Lynx R1 that I backed on Kickstarter has actually shipped. I just assumed I would never receive it.

Finally watched “Sinners” last night and wow what a movie. And at the end I like “oh he looks kinda like Buddy Guy…. Hey wait!” Had the pleasure of seeing Buddy Guy in concert in 2007. And what a treat that was.
Me when I’m burdened with the futile nature of self-actualization amidst the existential dread of consciousness.
please make this go viral so I can pay for repairs our humanoid robot boy DeREK completely lost his mind @REKrobot
It’s so beautiful.
I'm making a portable GameCube. It's not a Wii. It'll have a directly driven 480p laminated IPS panel for the crispiest GameCube pixels you've seen. It'll have USB C PD charging. Video out over USB C. Wireless 4 player multiplayer. Oh, it'll play Gameboy games too.
Pepsi hire me to make “Pepsiman 2: Resurrection”. And we release it exclusively on 3DO and Wonderswan.
Only the real gamers will know this one…
Are there any good online courses or resources for learning PCB/hardware design? I’m wanting to expand my microcontroller skillset and would love to understand this part of the process better.
Got all the makefiles setup to build for Dreamcast, Switch, & PC from the same codebase and assets. I have a single shell script that runs it with one command. Just need to get emscripten configured next.
