Students are expelled for saying bang bang/making finger guns on campus yet the superintendent can say bang bang in an email with no repercussions. Doesn’t seem like a good example to me, huh? Is someone promoting gun violence?
We’re aware you are unsure of rules, facts or even what your job duties are. You see, facts are facts. What Carver was spitting out was false information. Clearly, not ALL agreed and he was in FACT the only Republican….. so there is that 😉 What are the “facts” you speak of?
Great visual. I think this would be a great tool to use when it's time to consider the next bond. Time to eliminate the NEA and its downwind ilk, the USDept of Ed. Return money and control to the local level and I predict academic outcomes will improve.
"That kid's throwing desks, and the rest of the kids in that classroom have math in the hallway." It doesn't matter their motivation or background, if a student throws a desk at a teacher or another student, that has to be grounds for expulsion
Ms. Jimenez your timing is horrible. Phoenix residents are waking up and will realize you aided in failing the children in Isaac School District and would do the same for the city. Will some of her campaign donations come from companies like Progressive? Who suggested she run?
She couldn’t even manage a school district, but now she wants to run the city? Classic tone-deaf Democrat move.
The good part of this story is that the Tolleson police chief and city manager refused the superintendent's blatantly illegal and unconstitutional requests.
14/ TUHSD Superintendent Calles asked the Tolleson City Manager to accept an additional $85,000 for a land purchase so that these funds could be used to pay a specific broker that TUHSD had not hired in the transaction. “It would be cleaner for me.” The city refused. 👇
BREAKING NEWS!! @RepGosar of AZ has just introduced a bill to restore liability to the vaccine makers for the vaccines they make - they should bear responsibility for their products like every other industry - and any self-respecting human beings do. The bill would: REPEAL…
13/ The Tolleson Police Chief told JLAC that TUHSD staff asked the police to remove members of the public they did not want to speak during public comment. The police smartly refused this request.
11/ Sen. @EvaDiazforAZ asked Superintendent Calles if any current TUHSD governing board members or district staff worked for his consulting business and "how many". Answer: Yes, two “currently.”
8/ Separately, TUHSD secured voter approval to lease a parcel. TUHSD executed a 99-year ground lease for a housing project. @AZHouseGOP Rep. @lisa_llfink asked how the voters were informed of this project (HINT: they weren’t). Rep. @MatthewGress followed up to ask: “Did that…
Does Calles’ employees/contractors let their districts know when they begin consulting with another district?
7/ Superintendent Calles testified he does not update TUHSD when his consulting firms acquire other school districts as clients. 👇
6/ @AZHouseGOP House Majority Leader @MichaelCarbone asked: “Where in statute does it allow you to act as a bank?” Watch his explanation👇
5/ Senator @RealMarkFinchem nailed it: “I’m really struggling with this idea that this has become a cash generation machine...” 👇
Oh but his employees or contractors do consulting work during school hours on other district’s laptops Should we also go to board meetings and see which district laptops are being used at other districts board meetings?
4/ After repeated questioning from Rep. @MatthewGress, Superintendent Calles admitted he uses his Superintendent office to conduct work relating to his private consulting business.
This is like playing whack-a-mole
*Another* apparent conflict of interest?? 😑 The brazenness of these transactions is astounding. I’ve sent this new information to the Auditor General.
Complicity breeds silence. Crickets from the school board of @TollesonUhsd after superintendent Jeremy Calles spent hours attempting to deflect questions from the JLAC as to why he’s the highest paid superintendent in the state, has the highest paid staff, and yet only 22% of…
Allegedly Calles’ daughter works for Progressive roofing 😳

Dear homeschool parents: Remember this when they try to shame you for not being “qualified” to teach your own children. Always remember this article: You have all the qualification you need.
