I was at a TCMFF screening of ANIMAL CRACKERS. Looking through the crowd, I was trying to figure that was Ken Jennings in the audience. Then he looked at me and suddenly I am just making eye contact with the host of Jeopardy.
My friend ordered chips and queso during Blue Velvet and when the lights came on at the end he legit had cheese all over his shirt like the whole thing was yellow
I saw his name come up in the Rugrats and thought “hey, he’s got the same name as the big magic inventor.” It’s the same guy!
I don’t know who the hell Jessie Murph is or what that video is, and I’m not going to find out. We should all know less.
It probably something about the state of America that scams used to be “you’ve won money” and are now “we have a job for you.”

I keep score of all the games I go to. This has led to lots of nice conversations with strangers. Sometimes they’ll ask me questions about stuff that happened earlier in the game, sometimes they give me info I missed. It’s nice.

Seated at TCMFF for DINER. This group in the row behind us puts their mom or whoever in the aisle next to us. Mom immediately goes the fuck right to sleep and we later have to wake her up to leave.

“Celebrities die in threes” is some of the silliest woo woo magic thinking out there. No they don’t. Notable people pass away all the time like everyone else. Get the hell out of here with that.
It was a day of 30s b movies. Had a decent sized crowd for THE VAMPIRE BAT. A teen punched me in the back of the head just before I walked in. Later in the day I saw the STD exploitation film DAMAGED LIVES. There was only one other person in the theater. He left halfway through.

Martin Short paid a great tribute to the shoddiness of the original #MatchGame by barely getting the button to work to reveal the questions.
First two new #MatchGame contestants are a drag queen named Misty Waterfalls and a woman whose legal name is Joy Blessing. Perfect.
It must really suck to finally make it on Jeopardy and run into a super champion juggernaut. Kind of feel bad for them.
