Memphis in June: the evening cooled down as the sun slipped behind the clouds, fireflies flitted around the stage, and Bob Dylan and his band played one of the best sets I’ve ever heard. Here are some videos I made to try and capture the vibe and sound. First, “I Can Tell.”

Sixty years ago today, Bob Dylan performed his famous and controversial electric set at the Newport Folk Festival. Dylan opened with a blistering version of “Maggie’s Farm,” featuring Michael Bloomfield on guitar.

UPDATE: The Hawaiʻi County Council amended Bill 51 yesterday, so there is no longer a blanket ban on feeding community cats. A TNR program is also under consideration. However, the amendment would require caregivers to register to care for the cats—a measure we don't support.
