Grassroots football is not all about producing the next Premier League football player i can assure you it's a lot more important then that
Brilliant, research shows more girls than ever engaging with football but where are all the girls facilities, for years men/boys have struggle 2 to find affordable facilities to play/train so how are all these news girls going to participate in playing football without facilities

£1.03bn on players since the transfer window first opened at the start of June and am sure there's more to be spent ? at a time when we have kids struggling to pay their £20/£30 monthly football subs

@JagotaRavinder brilliant set up for the kids at Calderstones Park this morning, can’t believe it was free and the quality was 👌🏻⚽️ #grassrootsfootball
Grassroots Football is no longer for ALL, thousands and thousands of kids today are being priced of playing football or just going along to a training session due to ever increasing cost #savegrassrootsfooty

Grassroots football should be first as its the place football all starts
Our Football Governance Act puts fans first. It’s for supporters in Macclesfield, Wigan, Bury, Bolton, Derby, Reading, Sheffield Wednesday, Morecambe - and every club where fans were put last when they should’ve come first. Today is their win.
You don't get to play for the #Lionesses without the help/support from grassroots football along the way and we should never forget this #savegrassrootsfooty

It's happening all over the country. Grassroots will be a thing of the past unfortunately. The governing bodies are doing nothing. Academies should only be associated with efl clubs. Prem in Wales prem in Scotland. Any academy you pay to attend is not an academy simple
i run a u14s team parents pay subs run by 2 volunteers the price for training pitches is a joke
Support Grass Roots football that is were it all begins @savegrassroots
And what does it mean for grassroots football ? the place every football player starts off
It’s official - the Football Governance Bill has now become law. Our Labour Government has stood with fans who’ve long called for reform. This means stronger protections for clubs, more sustainable finances, and fans put back at the heart of the game - where they belong ⚽️
Son to his Dad Why can't I go and watch my favorite team play ? Why can't you buy me my favorite team kit ? Why don't we have Sky to watch my team play ? Why can't I play in a team or go to training sessions ? Dad "We just can't afford the costs anymore son" #PricedOut
£18 a day or £90 a week for a football camp ?? What happens to all those kids who's parent can't afford this ? simple they don't attend, money should never be a barrier to play football @savegrassroots
The £greed of the Premier League and it’ clubs is killing football #SaveOurGame

Asked the kids this morning which one they preferred the Fun Fair or our training session and guess what our free training session won
