£18 a day or £90 a week for a football camp ?? What happens to all those kids who's parent can't afford this ? simple they don't attend, money should never be a barrier to play football @savegrassroots

In 1971, Huyton Schoolboys made history by winning the English Schools FA Cup, a significant achievement from a small town. They were the first non-city team to lift the trophy. Mike, Kenny & Mark are working with schools to ensure their legacy lives on. (Part 1) @Knowsley_Leader
This week we were delighted to welcome Mike, Kenny & Mark to St Aidan’s to work with our Y6 pupils. They looked at this historic achievement and how our children can be whatever they want to be if they put their minds to it and believe in themselves. (Part 2) @Knowsley_Leader
Year 6 welcomed Project 71. The focus was ‘If they can, why can’t we?’ They explored their own aspirations for the future and plans of how to achieve this. Pupils were treated to breakfast and completed football training daily and had a friendly match with St Joseph’s.
£Billions at the top of the footballing pyramid and yet at the base of the Pyramid grassroots football the FA/Premier League expect us the free volunteers to continue to put are own free time and in many cases are own money into the making the next generation of footballers ?
