Normally, I’m critical of Murkowski getting more hate than her male colleagues when she votes for bad legislation. Not in this case. She flat out said this bill sucks and she still voted for it. I know she’s hoping the House bails her out, but this is unconscionable.
Happy Birthday to our LBCMD member, Delegate Robbyn Lewis! Your passion, purpose, and commitment to uplifting Maryland’s communities continue to inspire. Wishing you a year filled with growth, impact, and well-deserved joy. 🩵🎉
11 years later, we still remember Eric Garner’s words, “I can’t breathe.” Words he spoke as he was held in a choke hold that took his life. We will never forget Eric Garner. We will never stop fighting for justice and police reform. #JusticeForEricGarner
There is no place in our nation for a secret police force operating in the shadows and pulling people off the streets in unmarked cars. Congress must ensure law enforcement, including ICE, is held to basic standards of transparency, accountability, and respect for civil rights.
BREAKING: Dr. Jonathan Caravello, a U.S. citizen and @CFA_United member, has been released from federal custody after days of unjust detention. This is a victory, but it never should’ve happened! We must #EndRaids and free all those unjustly detained.
On Sesame Street, we believe hearts grow stronger when we care for others. When we treat each other with kindness and respect, we build stronger communities.

I don’t care what side of the aisle you’re on, the President of the United States even joking about revoking someone’s citizenship should be met with universal condemnation.

In this current political climate, recognizing Immigrant Heritage Month is more important than ever. America’s strength has always come from its diversity, and as a child of immigrants I am proud to stand in solidarity and celebrate the immigrant experience 🇿🇦🇳🇬#ProtectPGCounty
“The budget resolution passed by Senate Republicans today is not policy – it is an assault on working people. This attack will take healthcare from millions, steal food from children by gutting SNAP, slash research and higher education, and pour money into ICE to terrorize…

Republicans just voted to take millions off Medicaid, gut food assistance, and spike costs. The House still has to pass the BIG, UGLY BETRAYAL again before it’s official. Find your House Rep and tell them to vote NO house.gov/representative… #VoteBlue
Republicans are putting 17 million lives at risk in their “Big Beautiful Bill.” These are more than just numbers. These are real people who deserve to live a life without worrying they will go broke if they need health care.
