Looking for ways to make organizations more intelligent. Unity in diversity! Lead @StableLab governance.
The true test of any organizational paradigm or collective consensus building effort is this: Does it make the whole more intelligent than the one, or less? Do people get better when interacting with the system? Or worse? It's really that simple, and that hard.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but for scratches and superficial wounds 3% hydrogen peroxide is by far the best desinfectant. Expedites healing like 3x. Costs nothing.
Me: *explaining to Italians that you're not allowed to have open containers of alcohol in the public park in the US* Italians: you can't enjoy wine in the park and you think you live in a civilization?!
DAOs have failed is a lazy, nihilistic take. It's basically saying we should never experiment with coordination because we're so good at it. Lol, r u serious????
We are deeply concerned by the findings in the House Judiciary Committee's interim report, led by Chairman @Jim_Jordan, exposing the EU's misuse of the Digital Services Act (DSA) as a tool for censorship. The report reveals how the DSA pressures tech companies to alter their…
Interesting thoughts on futarchy and prediction markets in general. Not sure I agree. E. g. stock market is a HUGE part of the economy now. Maybe even defining. If you are interested in how decision making systems form communities, please also check out my article on the…
Prediction markets (if they take off) could end up being a society-destroying development. 🧵
You the delegator are the atomic unit of trust that supports all of DeFi and L2s. Don’t f it up, and consider the delegation team that already shapes our network. Consider the professionals at StableLab. 🤝
Beautiful bottoms up space focused on the most important questions today. Coordination.
We didn’t plan to buy a church. But here we are — on the edge of the Alps, about to double our venue and build a campus for the future of the commons. How did this happen? A thread on vandalism, community, and a monastery for the 21st century 🧵(1/12)
I find it intensely frustrating that it's so difficult to stream movies. Looking for Strange Days (1995). Apple TV, no. Amazon, no. FreeNet, no. Website aggregator tells me no platform in Germany. WTF! Do I need to buy a blueray player?
In just two hours we meet to discuss what's happening in @reserveprotocol DTF governance. Come join!!

The commons hub is officially open! After years of building, setbacks, and lots of collective effort, our event space & guesthouse is finally officially live. We've built an experimental playground for regenerative systems design, but our journey has only just begun. 🧵👇
It boggles the mind that all these amazing electronic payments solutions are still far below feature parity with cash, this far in. Not even starting to discuss UX here.
Really enjoyed @raphbaph´s latest piece, our Head of Governance at @StableLab. It makes a sharp point: governance isn’t neutral. It shapes who shows up, how they behave, and what kind of culture forms around them. Each mechanism builds its own arena. The challenge isn’t just…

Why does every app seem to have its own browser? Makes zero sense.
What are the institutions doing on chain? Does anyone have pointers to good research?
'water is transparent only within a very narrow band of the electromagnetic spectrum, so living organisms evolved sensitivity to that band, and that's what we now call "visible light". ' (found via HN)
Soon we will realize that short wavelength (UV & blue) light is akin to cheap processed (mostly) empty calories. Long wavelength Red & IR light is the high quality protein of the light for health world. My campaign to bring back incandescent lights has begun. & get sunlight too!
