New Green Tape: It’s time for a NEPA defense exemption. Virtually every environmental law allows for national security exemptions. NEPA, famously, does not. This is a direct national security risk. We should fix it.
In recent years energy efficiency programs have been transformed to promote electrification, which often leads to higher consumer costs and more energy consumption. This has set us back. True energy efficiency is fuel-neutral and actually reduces costs and energy consumption.
America’s largest renewables developer says their development expectations through 2029 are intact

Trump’s opposition to green power clashes w/ his AI agenda, via @jamepdx & @kelseytam. Stay for a YOLO quote from Sen. Thom Tillis, who calls cancelation of loan to Grain Belt transmission line a "mistake." “You can’t have it both ways,” he told me politi.co/416uEwZ
Great event in DC last night featuring @RepChuck, @DevonEnergy, and @bakerhughesco. Special thank you to @jharrell for moderating! A capacity crowd on a Tuesday in July? Huge excitement in DC for geothermal. Thank you Rep. Fleischmann for supporting critical investments in EGS!
It was a packed house at the American Energy Dominance Caucus this week! Thank you to Fervo Energy, Devon Energy, Baker Hughes, and ClearPath for your continued partnership. Congress and Industry are committed to unleashing clean, profitable, and American geothermal energy.
About 1/5 of Americans live on the Northeast Corridor, from DC to Boston. It's an ideal stretch for high-speed rail, but could we build it? Amtrak says it'd cost more than $100 billion. What if Amtrak is wrong? statecraft.pub/p/how-cheaply-…
