I’ve said from the beginning that this was going to be a boondoggle. EVs (especially the batteries) are terrible for the environment and are not economically viable without government giveaways. This plant will only result in higher utility costs for Kansans, and a huge bill…

Pretty interesting to see this from the Biden admin’s Permitting Council lead. More statutory deadlines for administrative / permitting approvals would be good for the country, and a good counterbalance to these sorts of political maneuvers. Still politically tricky, though.
