Today, the man that I was lucky enough to call my father sadly but peacefully passed away. I don’t really have words to explain how I’m feeling. It’s truly just a shock and such grief, so instead I’ve decided that I will tell you about my dad.

You can never convince me reading isn’t fun. Books have been the only escape some children, or even adults, have in a world surrounded by hurt. Books are beautiful, comforting, wonderful. If you don’t find books fun, you’re doing it wrong.
the best way to turn a student off of books forever is to try to trick them into thinking that reading is fun. reading is not fun, and if the only reason they are reading is for fun they will stop when they realize the truth.
Hearing a man say “I was going to” is such a turn off because 1. you didn’t. And 2. you’re lying
