Two men have pleaded guilty to bag thefts in the City. Reda Hammoudi (L), 32, of no fixed abode, has pleaded guilty to three counts of bag theft. Salem Zakarya (R), 33, of Regency Street, SW1, pleaded guilty to three counts of bag theft. Both will be sentenced in September

Somerset House #London 1755. Named for the Duke of Somerset, the Lord Protector to the boy King Edward VI. Building commenced 1546-7. Somerset was committed to the Tower in 1548, pardoned, committed again in 1549 on charges of High Treason and was beheaded on Tower Hill in 1552.
