The day after October 7, the largest and most active student organization in my law school put out a statement in explicit support of Hamas. They went on to spearhead the local student protest movement. I will never, ever let them whitewash that.
The student protesters were obviously correct on Gaza. The reaction to them was obviously idiotic and depraved. We're probably still a while out from this being banal conventional wisdom, but it's coming.
Wild that this is even a debate. Costco is a cathedral of abundance. Walking in and finding *anything* you need—in bulk, at low prices—is science fiction in many countries. It's a modern miracle. We shouldn't take it for granted.

After Stanford spent years unfairly targeting fraternities and the European theme houses based on woke nonsense, this is pretty astounding. They have actually punished the most deranged houses on campus and their leaders for hating white and jewish people.
Stanford has suspended two student residential co-ops for a year for Title VI violations. One co-op was suspended for targeting Jewish students and the other for exclusionary behavior toward white and male students.
