No mother is comforted by half-truths — least of all when it concerns her child. Hiding the rest because it’s uncomfortable? That’s not care. Doctors, you do not have a monopoly on health.
I always find it shocking — and frankly dishonest — when doctors claim to care for patients by withholding the full truth, supposedly to avoid deterring them from seeking necessary care. Especially toward mothers.
