The Law and Gospel distinction is sooo underated!!! How can anyone read the bible without it!!

A simple Litmus test for categorically excluding a tradition from Protestantism: Did the central confession(s) of the tradition originate between 1517 and 1563? If yes, then possibly Protestant. If not, then not Protestant.
Legalism doesn't make anyone moral. Instead, it turns people into hypocrites who are spending a lot of energy touching up the paint on the facade of their moralism. “For if a law had been given that could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law.” (Galatians…
Some make decisions out of fear of appearing “too Catholic.” Others make decisions out of fear of appearing “too Evangelical.” The cool thing about being Lutheran is that we can do what is meet and right and salutary and let everyone else deal with it. 😎
"So your God died?" Yes.
Periodic reminder that this is the level of comprehension of an average Christian 🧠. What else would you expect from these people anyway smh
St. Martin Luther: “Mary is the mother of Jesus and the mother of us all, even though it was Christ alone who did the redeeming.” Sermon on John 19:26–27 (Weimar Edition 11, 96)

“God takes water and joins it with His Word… and daily we live in that Baptism!” “Jesus comes to us—He unites with that Bread and that Wine!” “Jesus endured the Cross, and He endures us. Let us rest in Him.” @Flame314 sharing THE Good News! Thank you, brother!
Man's origin wasn't evolution. It was Eden.
To say Sola Scriptura is to say that the teaching of the apostles remains exclusively authoritative for the Church at all times. It isn’t replaced by a living tradition. It is the judge of it, because the apostles are the witnesses of Christ.
Moses, Isaiah and John all got to see glimpses of the heavenly worship, Ex.24:15, Isaiah 6:1, Rev.1:10 These rays of the divine liturgy, esp. as seen in Revelation, ought to give us zeal that our worship may mirror theirs. On earth as it is in heaven. Lutheran Cathedral Liepāja
Baptists aren't Protestant. Pentecostals aren't Protestant. Seventh Day Adventists aren't Protestant. Jehovah's Witnesses aren't Protestant. Non-Denominationals aren't Protestant. Latter Day Saints aren't Protestant. Restorationists aren't Protestant. These are "Revivalists."
