Since my previous employer shuttered us after the election, I can post these collages I did for an unpublished piece that tied the Gaza campus protests to the history of Liberation and anti-imperialist movements with the Civil Rights and Black Lives Matter movements in the U.S.

In the final round of RCV, Zohran Mamdani won Hakeem Jeffries' Congressional District (NY8) by 11.6%. Jeffries, the House Democratic Leader, has not endorsed Mamdani, the Democratic nominee, ahead of the General Election in November.

People are watching a system that is using mass starvation on tens of thousands of children in Gaza while severely punishing those protesting it and leadership of the nominally liberal party say absolutely nothing about it or openly cheerleads it.

It’s worse than “Gaza is being starved and destroyed and no one cares.” It’s that hundreds of millions *do* care and are powerless to stop it. We need a world where that can never happen, where the masses actually have political power.

🇧🇪I commend Belgium for arresting & interrogating Israeli war crimes suspects. The pressure to release them must be immense. Even if they escape justice, the precedent is set: universal jurisdiction applies. Others will follow, & war criminals will think twice before traveling.
