It's been deeply depressing, frustrating, and flat-out bad how many networks have been shifting away from inclusive storytelling, especially in the past few months. It's bad for representation, well-rounded stories, and TV. And this is a gigantic red flag of what's to come.

In the clips I have seen, they rarely smile while they are actually debating. They smile when they respond to controversial question. "Are you a fascist" "actually, yes I am :-)" They love that they were given a platform and the freedom to say something repulsive.
One thing I've learned seeing all the clips from that Jubilee is that right-wingers don't want to actually debate. They want to BE the bad guys. They think it's powerful to be a bad guy. It's all fantasy to them, and that's why there is no chance of ever reaching them.
