Gavin White thanks sport psychologist Cathal Sheridan from the Hogan Stand steps. He has now done the double, having been with the Tipperary hurlers this year too.
Sligo and Kerry have now won 39 All Ireland football titles between them.
Rovers channeling their inner Tipp there. And Cork just being Cork. Sensational second half. Massive effort all round. Elding sheer class 💪
As cancer survivor, I'm privileged to take part in the fundraiser Relay for Life at ATU Sligo on Sept 13/14th. I've never asked before, but this is a great cause. If you can share/donate I'd be truly grateful. All details in link. (not me in pic btw😊) relayforlife.ie/fundraisers/ji…
Always a Sligo angle. Tipp's sports psychologist Cathal Sheridan a proud Sligoman, following in the footsteps of multi All Ireland winning performance coach, Caroline Currid. What a phenomenal display by Tipp. A joy to watch #AllIrelandHurlingFinal
50 years ago today, one of the truly great Sligo sports stories, as Sligo win Connacht Senior Football Championship, beating Mayo 2.10 to 0.15 in replay at McHale Park. It was county's first Connacht title in 47 years, and it's only been done once since. Legends.@sligogaa
That's Rovers first win over Dundalk in the Cup since 1951, 74 years and their first ever won over Dundalk at Oriel Park 👏👏
So lucky to have⚽️ @sligorovers⚽️ players visit our ED and Children's ward. Thank you so much for putting a smile on everyone's face! #Sligo #bitored *Parental consent given for photography.
An incredibly young Seamus Coleman during his GAA days - legend. #legend #ireland #coybig
A tight finish sees @DarraghKeenan7 take the @LKBennettLondon Butterfly Mark Heritage Handicap Stakes on board ALZAHIR for @JCandlishracing.
@ChrisRyan77 My local cinema in Sligo, Ireland back in 92 some classics on that weekend!
July 8th, 2007, Sligo beat Galway in thrilling Provincial final to win Connacht Senior Football Championship. Hard to believe it's 18 years ago. Time to end the wait. Maybe next year🤞

Today I explored a 13th century abbey, hiked up to some gorgeous cliffside caves, wandered through the ruins of a Norman castle, and climbed a mountain dotted with multiple Neolithic passage tombs almost 1,000 years older than the pyramids of Giza. County Sligo is spoiling me!
Nearly seven years had elapsed since Patrick McClean made his last LOI appearance for Sligo Rovers. That's the longest gap between two league appearances for the Bit O'Red since Gerry Carr returned after more than seven years in October 2002.
Starting XI 🔴⚪️ Here’s our line-up for tonight’s game 🚨 O'Kane, McManus and McClean go straight into the starting XI, while Seb Quirk is named on the bench #Bitored | #Since1928
Very proud that Seamus Coleman represents us with such dignity and class💚
Cracking game at the Showgrounds. A credit to the league. Exceptional talent on both sides. Elding's class and workrate phenomenal, Hakiki outstanding too. Great performances all round. Defended heroically against unrelenting pressure. Vital point. Onwards and upwards. 👏👏
Rovers supporter Amanda walks 15km from Sooey to the Showgrounds after her courageous battle with cancer. Please consider donating below. gofundme.com/f/sooey-to-the… #Bitored | #Since1928
Sligo is a lovely, friendly town and Benbulben provides an impressive backdrop and a majestic presence. A wonderful place to visit!
