Am very privileged to be able to call @SAS_DrClodagh a friend and colleague, and am absolutely delighted that she has just been elected as deputy chair of RB at BMA ARM. First time I believe, that someone from NI has held this role. @BMA_NI @BMA_SAS #sasbychoice #abilitynotgrade
The first NI motion at ARM calls for rights for disabled people and their carers. The motion is carried.

Thinking of all my GP colleagues from minority ethnic or international backgrounds delivering much needed care in all communities against the backdrop of this appalling violence criminality and racism I pray you stay safe. Remember our society really values you @rcgp_ni
Fewer practices; More patients; Funding still not sufficient to meet the needs of our patients. This is not a picture of stability and no where near a foundation that can shoulder the burden of more “shift left”

Yesterday was a great day for 🏴. The opportunity for Welsh Speciality doctors who meet the national criteria for Specialists to be regraded became national policy. A win for fairness. I am delighted. @alimsshaw @SASBetsi @AlkaSashin 👏👏👏🎉🥳🎉
Use this document to convert Specialty to Specialist doctors, time to recognise the major contribution these senior doctors make to our NHS and make your department stronger and better #Sasdoctorsrule
This is very important for our ageing medical workforce. As we age both physical and cognitive function declines and we develop more chronic health conditions. job plans need to be adjusted. I hope this proposal was accepted. Occupational Health can help advise on adjustments
“There is no such thing as a non-training doctor”. @ecewain wonderfully summed up who SAS doctors are and why they’re so important at our SAS Doctors Reception.
