I know, I know....I hate to derail your holiday shopping, but you may want to think twice before you buy the 370 square miles of wrapping paper.
Mammatus in Lynnwood right now. @NWSSeattle @ShannonODKOMO

Sharing my four favorite photos from tonight’s storms. #wawx @MorganKIRO7 @NWSSeattle @ShannonODKOMO

Today’s sunset was a spectacular one - Lake Tye in Monroe. #wawx @ShannonODKOMO

Since I can’t sleep because of the wind - have a thunder and lightning video from the squall line earlier. #wawx
Low pulling in gusts now to 70 mph in Hoquiam/Aberdeen. The pair of 47 mph blows in Seattle & Everett accompanied the squall line that brought heavy rain, hail and lightning to the north Sound in the 6 pm hour. Still plenty of gusts to go as the low moves inland tonight! #WAwx
Mesmerizing water vapor loop of a strong storm swirling off the Pacific Northwest coast today.
Cell near Tacoma showing some potential rotation on radar. Any eyes on it? #wawx
Tornado Warning including Silverton OR, Mount Angel OR and Scotts Mills OR until 6:00 PM PST
Tornado Warning including Aberdeen WA, Hoquiam WA and Ocean Shores WA until 4:45 PM PST
Those blizzard conditions last night were no joke. We received over a foot of snow & fortunately, we are getting a break from this crazy weather. Our plows are out doing our part, make sure to do yours by slowing down and following all traction tire requirements. Please & Thanks.
Its crazy out there tonight
Bomb Cyclone Chaos in Bellevue! 🌪️ Trees crashing onto powerlines—residents left in the dark! More damage expected. 😳 Stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel #SEATTLESUBMISSIONS
I don’t care if you’re a weather hobbyist or a professional meteorologist, this is one of the most pristine real-life examples of (explosive) extratropical cyclogenesis that I’ve observed in quite some time. I know there’s plenty of severe and winter weather fanatics out there,…
An example of the localized nature of these winds: Winds are now extending downward from the terrain of the Cascades and Sea-Tac is gusting to 38 mph. 18 miles away at Tacoma-Narrows it's 7 mph. #wawx
We've got a buoy report pretty close to the storm center offshore. And it's about what was expected. Buoy 5 is 300 nautical miles west of Aberdeen - reporting sustained winds 56 mph gusting 74 mph. And pressure 950.5 millibars. #wawx
