It’s so exciting to see bipartisan support for abundant housing reforms emerging in Harrisburg from a left-right “strange bedfellows” coalition of lawmakers and advocates. The PA Housing Choices Coalition has 30+ members asking the state to take action! spotlightpa.org/news/2024/03/h…

The Pedophile Protection Party shut down Congress because they know Trump’s in the Epstein files. Democrats are exposing the truth.
Republicans tried to sneak their way out of DC to avoid voting to release the Epstein files. We forced—and passed—the vote anyway. The people are tired of watching the powerful be protected.
So this is probably fake too, right @JDVance ? The whole thing made up? Or maybe just the Trump part? I’m losing the thread a little, I gotta say. wsj.com/us-news/jeffre…

I hope @Pontifex continues to speak against starvation and barbarity in Gaza and U.S. bishops continue to defend those targeted for arrest and internment here. The Church has a unique, non-ideological voice on behalf of the dispossessed and displaced, like Jesus himself was.
Oh my… Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell just corrected Trump’s math on national television, live, and called out his disinformation.
After working hard to scuttle Nippon Steel's purchase of rival US Steel on supposed "national security" grounds, Cleveland-Cliffs' CEO says he's "open" to foreign investment in the company and to selling off its assets. 🤔 share.google/O3e2micg9mdmx9…

A Trader Joe’s employee once told me they can’t really do anything but whenever one of those dogs barks she liked to rush over and asks if they need her to call 911 because their service dog is alerting, and I think that’s a very funny way to make these people feel bad.
what really grinds my gears are dogs in grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. it's disgusting. everyone knows it's not allowed, but there's complete impunity, with staff either not wanting the hassle of enforcing the posted rules or even giving the dogs treats

It is surprisingly underreported that DoD has its own Loan Programs Office (called the Office of Strategic Capital), and that office now has $200 billion in loan authority.
The country's largest power market just posted the highest capacity price in its history – and soaring data center demand is the "primary reason," according to @PJMInterconnect's Independent Market Monitor. "Virtually every trend is setting us up for electricity price spikes,"…
I really love the City of Philadelphia Storefront Improvement Program. It’s truly a model. I’ve lost count of how many SIP projects I have done (probably in the 40’s) but I’m glad to be doing one again.

Our policy proposals for the next surface transportation reauthorization aim to pull the federal transportation program out of the 1960s and into the 21st century. That means updating outdated practices & standards for a faster, more effective approach 👇 t4america.org/2025/07/23/dra…
NEW PAPER: Our aging grid is buckling under demand rising faster than any time in 40+ years. Policymakers have a once-in-a-generation chance to unite behind a fix: a macrogrid. Why? It: ✅ Imposes a low burden on taxpayers ✅ Is pro-market ✅ Boosts national security
It’s hard to find a trend in the electricity system right now that *doesn’t* point to near-term price increases if not a broad affordability crisis. The setup is bad and getting worse. I wrote about it for @heatmap_news:
