Those of us extensively trained in therapy and coaching are demoralized by the amount of people charging big money for these type sessions. It takes years of training, plus doing hardcore new personal development after leaving religious systems to jump back into influencing.

As a survivor, I cannot put into words how horrific it is to watch a president dangle a pardon for an unrepentant predator, in exchange for his own exoneration btw, when we could’ve elected a woman who literally prosecuted sex offenders.

One thing I’m gonna continue to have absolutely no patience for is exvangelical men who participated in or were bystanders of documented abusiveness toward women, did no repair and accepted no accountability, minimized the harm and crafted their own image repair narrative. +

Ugh this is so frustrating. Former pastors that caused as much harm as Joshua Harris have allllll the space to get a job where they are not holding positions of significant influence in peoples beliefs/lives. This is why I don’t trust his new leaf.

The closed-door meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell speaks volumes. Now far right news outlets like Newsmax are referring to her as a 'victim'. We told everyone NOT to trust anything if this wasn't bipartisan and open to the public. Lies incoming.

Is it me, or is choosing to sherpa people *out* of a purity culture you propped up a bit of a treacherous grift.

Guys, Joshua Harris being in this season of shiny happy people is seriously ruining it for me. The lack of self awareness and ownership in this second ep has my chest pounding. I am fuming.

That JOSHUA HARRIS of all people is on these episodes as “author/evangelical expert” is real irresponsible. Absolutely not. Insert goose meme- author of what? AUTHOR OF WHAT? That man helped make *gestures* and then charged people money for his deconstructing classes or whatev.

I took my students to camps/conferences in OK where Ivey & Stone led worship. Makes me wonder about the credibility of the camp directors who brought them. It can’t be hard to know if your band is bringing alcohol on campus/camp grounds or showing up to sound checks hungover.

This is key because at 21 years old I didn’t know what red flags were when it came to church leadership.

If Pam Bondi is meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell there needs to be a bi-partisan contingency from both sides and not just people from the Trump administration. The meeting needs to be recorded, and there should be absolutely NO one on one secret meetings with her. This smells.

As we start to see more cracks in the information bubbles so many have lived in the past decade or, it matters how we respond to the people breaking out of them. 👇🏼

Going to be beating this drum for a while. Integrity cannot be the cost for advancing the mission. No matter how virtuous the end goal is.
