I have almost 200 titles on Amazon self-published. I've made nearly a fiver today from sales. This is more than many indie authors make daily. But it's not exactly filthy lucre. Just putting that out there as some seem to believe authors are automatically rolling in dosh. 🙄

Just read an article about how many foods and drinks contain microplastics. And even plastic spatulas/utensils can introduce them into your food while you're cooking it. I wish I hadn't read that article. When it's almost impossible to escape a problem, what is the point?

It's disheartening to see so many reply to this with views that show how far they too are divorced from reality. 'Oh, but they could save money if they didn't buy pizza or go on holiday or watch Netflix.' These ppl know NOTHING about true poverty.
