My sister’s #Dicentra #BleedingHeart. She loved these as much as I do, and her plant sits pride of place in the flower bed I created in her memory. #NeverTooYoung

Lots of pinks for #SixOnSaturday, plus a little friend hiding! #Flowers #Gardening #FlowerHunting

My favourite #Rose of all #BrotherCadfael determined to keep going if he can after half the shrub has completely died. I thought I’d lost the entire rose, but he’s just put out some very small shoots with perfect flowers. I’ll be so sad if these are his last. #RoseWednesday

I could not agree more with this. There’s a time and a place for everything, and we surely go to work to work.
Call me a bluff auld traditionalist but surely now we’ve seen consequences of ‘bringing your whole self to work’ splattered in detail across media, who’s with me for the retro concept? Bring your professional self to work - indulge your ‘whole self’ (legally) in your own time!
Some people might think this bed resembles a bit of a jungle right now, but I’m loving it, and so are the pollinators. A veritable haven for 🐝and 🦋!😊 #Flowers #Gardening #FlowerHunting

Going into the height of summer with a bang (though what will be left once the rain stops is anyone’s guess)! 🎆🎇 #Flowers #Gardening #FlowerHunting

#MagentaMonday’s come round again. Seems to be quicker every week! #MondayMotivation #Flowers #Gardening #FlowerHunting

Going into the evening with some #SundayYellow. #Flowers #Gardening #FlowerHunting

Some more lovelies for #SevenOnSunday. #Flowers #Gardening #FlowerHunting

Camille Pissarro (10 July 1830 – 13 November 1903) The Boulevard Montmartre at Night, 1897
For #FoliageFriday, one of my frilly #Ferns and some much-loved #Euphorbia, both self-seeded and loving their position in the bed I planted in my sister’s memory. #NeverTooYoung #CheckYourPoo 💩 #Flowers #Gardening #FlowerHunting

My beautiful #RoaldDahl still going despite intense heat and now torrential rain. Such a trouper! #RoseWednesday #Flowers #Gardening #FlowerHunting

There is always light. If only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it. ~Amanda Gorman art by Ed Perkins✨

I’m thrilled that my #Campanula has decided to come back from the dead after last summer when I assumed it was no more. One of my favourites as we go into the height of summer, and a lovely foil to the oranges and yellows that are taking over elsewhere. #FlowerHunting

I very nervously gave my completely out of control #Salvia #HotLips an extremely hard prune this spring, thinking he may not survive. A couple of months later and he’s as happy as larry! So pleased, as he’s a big fave of mine. #MondayMotivation #FlowerHunting
