Back at National Action Network this morning, where Rev. Al Sharpton is again hosting multiple candidates for NYC office. Mayoral candidate Brad Lander just arrived while comptroller candidate Mark Levine was speaking. Levine thanked Lander for standing up to ICE
I wonder who @MarkLevineNYC voted for Comptroller 👀👀 @NY1
Mayor Eric Adams has not commented on Brad Lander’s arrest.
And still silence from @NYCMayor I’m on my way now to demand the immediate release of Comptroller Lander
ICE’s attacks on our city are outrageous. We are fighting back.
And still silence from @NYCMayor I’m on my way now to demand the immediate release of Comptroller Lander
Masked ICE agents just violently arrested a US citizen —and elected official — for simply asking to see a judicial warrant. This is authoritarianism. Comptroller Lander must be released immediately.
Levine has a *really* big lead over Brannan at this moment in the comptroller race, per the new DREAM-funded poll: stratpolitics.org/wp-content/upl…
I’ve attended my fair share of marches, but today’s No Kings march is the largest I’ve ever seen. New Yorkers are saying NO to Donald Trump and his attacks on our city.
Mark Levine says he will use the powers of the comptroller's office "to fight back on every front" against President Trump, saying the president is "a major threat to this city."
Mark has proven once again that he has the experience and solutions to lead NYC in the right direction as comptroller. We know that there is no one better equipped to take on the tough fights for us. Giving the keys back to Mark now. 2 weeks left – let’s do this! – Team Levine…
