Once again, @WCKitchen we have run out of food in Gaza. Our brave teams on the ground report the security situation has deteriorated significantly, and our ability to operate is severely constrained. We need to get trucks of supplies safely to our field kitchens ASAP so that we…
Our teams in Gaza have again run out of food to cook. We have finished all the stock in hand, and our trucks are stuck at the border. We are continuing to bake bread and deliver water. But the people of Gaza still need a hot meal. Yesterday, we served 80,000+ meals—and we are…

In this clip, @ErinBurnett of @CNN asks how I am handling the pressure on media. My answer: We have freedom of speech and the press. We may pay a price for exercising it. Our job is to accept that, humbly do the best work we can, and make sure we can defend it.

New: I teamed up with @elenalingshao and @nytgraphics to map more than 100 public TV and radio stations that are at risk of closing as a result of tonight's vote: nytimes.com/interactive/20… This is a time bomb that will go off in the fall, when the last federal grants run out.
By a partisan 216-213 vote, the House approved President Trump's request to pull back $8B in foreign aid and all $1.1B set aside for NPR, PBS and their stations for the next 2 yrs. Congress has now unraveled its role in public media stretching back more than a half-century.
Sad and surprising news for @StephenAtHome and the Colbert Nation. But I know there will be many more years of Stephen's entertaining and educating us. God's not finished with him yet.
Breaking News: CBS will cancel “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” next year, retiring a franchise that lasted more than three decades. nyti.ms/4lus6Rz

People in cages. What a disgrace. Call "Alligator Alcatraz" what it is: a concentration camp. "Most detainees at the center do not have criminal convictions, according to a government official..." No one deserves this treatment. Every person has dignity. nytimes.com/2025/07/16/us/…
I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss of life and injury caused by the military attack on the Holy Family Catholic Church in #Gaza. I assure the parish community of my spiritual closeness. I commend the souls of the deceased to the loving mercy of Almighty God, and pray for…
