This show reminded me: we do the hardest job in the world. But it can also be the most beautiful. Let’s keep fighting for our patients—and for each other—with the same reckless compassion these characters showed. We are them. And they are us. Thanks for the article, @inkookang…
And here’s the thing: just as we take on the grit and action of The Pitt, let’s also take on its challenge. To find the best in each of these characters—their humility, their loyalty, their bravery—and carry it with us when we walk into a room.
I’m grateful beyond words for this show on @StreamOnMax. For the first time in a long time, I’ve felt understood—by people who love me but could never quite grasp the toll, or the pride, or the guilt that comes with being an ER doc.
I didn’t expect The Pitt to hit me like it did. As an ER doc, so much of what we go through has always felt impossible to explain—to friends, to partners, to family. But this show… this show finally helped them see us. Really see us. (Quick thought)⬇️
