The Senate bill went from being better than the House bill to worse on energy. This will kill wind and solar projects across the country, cost jobs primarily in red states, and raise energy costs for consumers by hundreds of dollars per year.
The new Senate bill is EVEN WORSE than the House bill. It includes a new tax on wind and solar projects that aren’t even getting a tax credit. This will raise costs for everyone by tens of billions and cause shortages.
The US will need ~450 GW of new electricity generation capacity by 2030 to meet rising demand from data centers, reshoring, etc. And the Senate is about to vote on a bill that could wipe out ~500 GW of potential energy generation capacity.

Not only will the budget bill take away healthcare for 11.8 million Americans, but it will also add $4.5 TRILLION to the national debt. It took America 217 YEARS to first accumulate that amount of debt. (back in 1993). This bill is irresponsible and should not pass.
